Here’s where you can get books for $1 in Metro Vancouver

Whether you’re an avid reader or are trying to get into the habit of reading more books this year, the North Vancouver City Library is here to help you with its annual Summer Book Sale, and books are only $1 each!

Those looking for their next good read can browse the library’s selection of popular fiction, nonfiction, mysteries, children’s literature, and more. So grab your reading glasses and get crazy!

Here is the price breakdown for this year’s Summer Book Sale:

  • Books – $1
  • Magazines – 5 for $1
  • Fill a Bag – $5
  • All other materials – $1

This year’s Summer Book Sale will take place during hours (9am to 9pm) from Wednesday, June 5 through Saturday, June 15 in the library lobby, while supplies last.

Keep in mind that the North Vancouver City Library normally hosts two book sales each year, so if you can’t make it to the summer sale, don’t worry. There is still a chance to stock up on good reading material in the winter!
